Lovely staff. Clean and great location. Nice breakfast.
Bed and pillows too hard for me and the bed was very short so my husband hurt his foot through the night when he banged it ok the spindles at the bottom. Room 17 was also very noisy being next to the road.

Friendly staff and lots of squashy chairs to chill in.
My bedroom was in the attic which was great, quiet and atmospheric but became very hot because I couldn’t open both windows wide.

Welcoming staff and good size bedroom
The full English breakfast was not very good, no hash browns, mushrooms, black pudding and bacon too crispy and overdone.

Location was great for access to the town and zoo.
Bed was uncomfortable, pillows very hard. Trouble with toilet flushing. Breakfast was dreadful. Do not recommend eating here.
