    Dear InterContinental Marseille Team, I recently stayed at your hotel and, unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. When we checked in, our luggage was mistakenly sent to another room. Later, I asked for a bucket of ice to keep my insulin cold, but was told there would be a charge — €6 for ice or €10 if I wanted the hotel to store it. I was honestly shocked. I have stayed at many hotels, and none have ever charged for helping with a medical necessity. I couldn’t help but feel punished for having a medical condition. Room service was also very slow — we often had to call twice before anyone came. On the day we left, the reception didn’t even seem aware of my stored insulin, which added more frustration. This stay fell far below the standards I’ve come to expect from the InterContinental brand, and I hope my feedback will help improve future guest care. Kind regards, Grace Yang

    It’s my repeated stay after my last stay few years ago. The rooms are renovated. The room is very comfortable and clean, staff are helpful (especially the doormen and concierge), the spa environment is superb, the breakfast is with high food quality (but some waiters are always have forgetful mind). The hotel location is excellent too as it’s just a few minutes walk away from the crowds and thus can let us feel secure and safe when we stay in the town. Definitely I will choose to stay there again in my future visits to Marseille.
