A very cosy and quiet hotel, located in the centre of the city, near the railway station and with a view (from some rooms) on the cathedral. The room was large, well designed, it had all that was necessary for a comfortable stay: good blackout curtains, plenty of space for luggage, recently refurbished bathroom. To my regret, I had to check out early and could not have breakfast, which is always excellent.

Perfect location! Right in the heart of the city, yet quiet enough to relax. The hotel is part of the Früh brewery, giving it an authentic German touch, with the famous Früh restaurant and brewery just next door. Plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Extremely friendly staff and a beautiful view of the cathedral from the window.
Since the brewery is right next door, some of the smells carry into the hotel building. When I first entered the hallways, there was a strong odour and heavy air. I got used to it after a while, but when we entered our room, the hygiene was disappointing. The corners and edges were dusty, the chair had various stains, and there were spider webs on the ceiling near the window. Also, as the hotel is part of the brewery, the room theme revolves around beer. So don’t expect a romantic atmosphere, a giant beer motif kind of kills the vibe. Lastly, there were no slippers or basic toiletries like toothpaste provided.
