Great place for overnight stay near Gatwick: excellent value for money and very convenient location. Location and ease of access for Gatwick airport: needed somewhere to stay near airport overnight, and this was perfect: easy short bus trip from and to airport (no 20!) with stops 1 or 2 minutes away from Lodge (also just 5-7 mins. walk from railway station — there are direct trains from London or Gatwick to Horley). Helpfulness of staff: after evening journey from Newcastle I needed to arrive late (after 11 p.m.) and I was sent well in advance clear and easy instructions for late check-in. Single room was comfortable, warm and clean with simple but good facilities. Would certainly use again.
Bed was a little soft, but otherwise no complaints.

The shower head would not stay on so had to hold shower hose while washing, also water just warm
