This is a family home and we welcome all ages for family fun and togetherness.
We have taken precautions and used enhanced cleaning with sanitizers and wipes. Even the doorknobs and handles.

Large decks (and a smaller one facing the street) with a beautiful view over magnificent Lake Tahoe. Our Swedish Chalet is homey and kid friendly with lots of games, toys, puzzles and beach toys. . For big kids: lots of games in the cupboards. Also lots of cycling and hiking trails. Many beautiful beaches all around and boat rentals.
Large deck off main floor with umbrella table and comfortable chairs and chaises. BBQ and a great place to watch boats go by. "Happy Hour on the deck" is very popular.

This custom designed, three story, Chalet in North Lake Tahoe's prestigious 'Dollar Point' is a wonderful Family vacation home, close to the lake. The kitchen features hand made pine cabinets and is adjacent to the spacious living/dining area with a huge lovely wood burning/gas fireplace and lots of seating. Bring the kids and enjoy the large deck and expansive lake views. BBQ on the deck while watching the boats.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the cooking utensils you need and pretty European dishes and glassware. You will be able to set a nice table in the dining room or enjoy going out to one of the many fine restaurants in the area. Ill be happy to recommend some of our favorites. Eating bar between kitchen and dining table for extra seating or serving. Fully stocked with all the spices you need and pots and pans.
Two King beds, Two Queen beds ,two bunk beds. One of the bathrooms has a very popular steam shower.
Huge picture windows and high 18 foot beamed ceilings. The ambiance and feeling in this home makes for a great family vacation. .
Second floor: King bed, Queen bed with bath and bathtub..
Lower floor: King bed, Double bed and two twin beds with an all tile bath and shower.
The amenities include: . Bikers: Trails all around. Boaters: Coast guard pier with ramp within a mile. Many rental boat places. Skiing: 15 -30 minutes to Squaw, Alpine, Homewood, Northstar and Diamond Peak .Skylandia beach is within 10 minutes. Reno airport is one hour drive away.
A full week rental and preferably from Sunday to Sunday is preferred but shorter stays are acceptable.

A word of caution: Pine needles are a nuisance with all the huge trees all around. br>Please do not disturb the peace and quiet in our lovely neighborhood. If partying on the deck, for instance, be respectful of the neighbors. No loud noise after 9:00, a $1500 fine if rules were not followed.

Beach, tennis and pool are limited to home owners onlyl Many beautiful beaches all around. The Common Beach right in Tahoe City is a wonderful place and also Sand Harbor.

We had a great stay, nice view and relaxing. House is very spacious for a large group, clean and also relatively close to the lake if you like a nice walk/hike. I highly recommend this location. Also, the management was very responsive. Overall, awesome experience!

It is a unique Swedish style house. Nice view of the Lake. Enough rooms for 12 people. Nice family/living space for gathering. Host was very prompt and understanding.

This was a wonderful place to gather and enjoy time together at Tahoe! There was plenty of space for everyone to stretch out and have their own private rooms. Birgitta was very responsive and helpful all the way through! We hope to stay here again in the future.

The family who own this place were very welcoming and caring about our stay. They were responsive to our questions. It easily holds 10 adults with a large dining table adjacent to a large deck. One bathroom shower was handicap accessible. We had 4 cars among us which maxed out the parking spaces as the owners used one space for a boat. The lighting was poor for reading at night with only two low wattage lamps in a large living room. We were there during high heat (90's) and warm nights. No AC so sleeping was compromised. The amenities at Dollar Point are nice, especially the pool. The beach has low water and works for wading versus swimming. We rented a boat and were able to use the dock for accessing it. Overall this place worked for us but was getting past it's prime.....plug-ins fell out of the wall outlets, brooms needed replacing, evidence of dog hair on carpets and cushions.
