Large garden, beautiful historic building, spacious rooms with original decor, welcoming and helpful staff
Somewhat garish color schemes in some rooms might not be to everyone's tastes, Wifi tricky to access at least for our devices, mediocre coffee.

Friendly and helpful staff. Easy secure parking. Very nice Bistro next door, accessible from hotel garden terrace.
Room was very basic. Just OK for an overnight stay, but inadequate storage etc for a longer stay.
Although clean the hotel was 'tired'. For example, threadbare carpets on main stairs.
