The hotel is in a very central position of the town, and the building is from the 16th century. The restaurant is decorated with both old and newer artifacts, a generous mix of interesting pieces. The rooms are of a reasonable size, and the furniture is different from more modern hotels. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was dated, but clean and in good order.
The breakfast was tasty. The selection was adequate. The restaurant's menu was limited, but the dishes served were of good quality.
Some may say that this hotel is worn down and outdated. The furniture is old, but we found it just charming. At his time of year (early December), the hotel is understaffed, but the owner was very helpful and tried his best to communicate with us in English.

This is not an ordinary hotel. It dates back to the 18th century, all feels "antique". So do not complain about the lack of shower curtain or similar. You are in the center, 5' walking from the abbey and the river Durance.
I was offered to park the bike in the covered garage (for free), and was provided with a radiator to warm up the room as it was mid-season and I was cold after 8 hours ride.
The restaurant is good and not expensive

We had dinner at the hotel and were very positively impressed by the quality. The family who run the hotel are welcoming and friendly. Excellent value for money. We have stayed there before and would stay there again.
