Located in MENNEVILLE near Desvres, in the heart of the Caps et Marais d'Opale Regional Park, at the junction of the Boulonnais mountains and the Course Valley, near the beaches of the Opal Coast (Hardelot, Wimereux, Wissant , Le Touquet), the cities of Boulogne sur mer, St Omer, and Montreuil sur mer.
This old 180 m² mill is on the edge of a stream within a property incorporating a horse club and pony club. This cottage comfortably accommodates large, welcoming spaces for 10 people. Located 3km from DESVRES town center with all shops.
Completely renovated, this old mill from 1837 offers you:
- On the ground floor: entrance, bedroom with 4 single beds, bathroom with Italian shower and 2 sinks, separate toilet.
- On the 1st floor: a large friendly living room of 60m2 including a well-equipped American kitchen, dining room, and living room with TV, DVD player, and wood stove. View of the river and the horse club. Laundry room with a 2nd fridge and a washing machine. Access to the private terrace and the park.
- On the 2nd floor: a corridor serving an independent toilet, a bathroom with shower and 2 sinks, a large bedroom with 4 single beds, a 2nd bedroom for 2 people with 2 single beds.
The private sun terrace is equipped with tables and benches for lunch, parasol, sun loungers and Weber barbecue.

Partial access to the park and to the 12 hectare property including a Pony club / Horse Club (courses and courses possible on request).

Wir waren für zwei Wochen mit drei Kindern (11/13/15) und Hund in dem Ferienhaus. Die Wohnfläche erstreckt sich über drei Etagen: ein grosses Schlafzimmer mit 4 Betten, Duschbad und separate Toilette im Erdgeschoss, eine Wohnebene mit Zugang zur Terrasse und zwei Schlafzimmer mit 2 bzw 4 Betten, Duschbad und separater Toilette im Dachgeschoss. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und bietet so viel Platz, dass Teenager ihren Eltern so aus dem Weg gehen können, wie es der Familienfrieden benötigt. Das W-LAN schafft es, neben drei Mobiltelefonen im Dauerbetrieb auch eine stabile Leitung für das Urlaubsoffice zu halten.
Das Haus ist Teil eines Anwesens, dessen Park an einen Pferdehof grenzt. Wer möchte kann dort auch Reitstunden nehmen; weil unsere Kinder kein französisch sprechen, haben wir dieses Angebot nicht nutzen können.
Auf dem Grundstück leben diverse freilaufende, sehr freundliche und geduldige Hunde, die auch unsere vorwitzige Kläffnase gut zu nehmen wussten. Manchmal kommt auch eine Ziege vorbei.
Im Nachbarort gibt es mehrere Bäckereien, Supermärkte und kleine Geschäfte. Das Meer ist zwischen 20-45 Autominuten entfernt, je nachdem für welchen Ort man sich entscheidet.
Nadine und Antoine sind sehr nette Gastgeber, die mit Rat und Tat beiseite stehen.
