This was a beautiful apartment, well appointed and centrally located.

Because it was not located directly on a canal, it was a bit difficult to get to with luggage. It required dragging luggage across bridges and cobblestones from the canal. While it was not a long walk, the bridges did make it difficult with heavy luggage.

The building, apartment, hallway and terrace was fabulous. The location was great! Interior Design was Venetian style, lights and chandelier from Murano Island. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need and even more including snacks for breakfast. The bathroom was very spacious.I wish I would spend more time at the terrace.

The absence of a chair or a luggage stand in the bedroom.

The property is in a good location close to St Marks Square and Rialto Bridge. The decor inside is nice and the apartment was very spacious with space to make food and tea and coffee making facilities.

Communication with the property was challenging. Passports were sent early and as I didn’t want to send credit card details I was told a link would be sent to pay tourist tax 3-4 days before stay then access codes would be provided. The link wasn’t provided and despite emails and texts it didn’t come until the day before we travelled. I paid the tax but then did not receive access codes. All emails texts and calls were ignored and booking.com had to get involved and contact the property. Not a great start. The apartment is a good size and nicely decorated we were on the second floor so it is quite dark as surrounded by buildings. The satellite tv does not offer much if you are planning to spend time in the apartment then you need to bring a lead to link up media. Overall I was disappointed with the poor communication which caused me blue anxiety prior to our trip and although a lot of positives to the apartment such as size and location I would not stay here again.

The property is really great, clean and beautiful as in the pictures. The lower rating is only due to communication which creates unnecessary stress for guests. Please be quick in answering questions, in providing information about when to expect the access code, whether it will be valid after check-out, but leaving luggage, etc.
