Location with great views on BOTH sides of the hill and valley below. Possibility to park your car FOR FREE on piazza in front of the hotel (no reserved places so early birds win). Free drink for each guest in a bar on ground floor. Extensive toiletries including bathrobes.
Breakfast was delightful but could have been a little more diverse.

We were lucky to get a parking spot in front of the building, which was very convenient (but I'm guessing not typical). The room and the bathroom were large and the view from the room was pretty amazing.
The temperature in the room ranged from freezing to extremely hot overnight with no rhyme or reason. One of the two sinks in the bathroom didn't work at all and the water pressure in the shower was poor. The coffee was terrible - we ordered different types (macchiato, cappuccino, americano, etc) and none of them was an improvement. The staff was friendly, but it's a weird set up with no reception desk in the actual hotel...you have to walk outside and into the bar next door to get hotel service. Lastly, the seating and bed itself were uncomfortable. There is no elevator, so you must drag your luggage up/down multiple sets of steps to access most of the guest rooms.
