Leonardo Hotel Eindhoven City Center

Location was fantastic.

We arrived in the city earlier than expected and stopped by the hotel to ask if we could leave our luggage before check-in. Thankfully, our rooms were already ready, so we were able to check in early, which was very convenient. The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly throughout the whole process. We had booked a family room and a double room. The family room was very spacious, and the beds were large and very comfortable. In general, the hotel is in a great location — less than a 5-minute walk from both the train station and the city center with its shops and restaurants. Although, overall, the city itself doesn’t have a lot of attractions or things to do. The breakfast had a good variety of options, although some items did not seem very fresh.

The only real negative point was the bathroom in the family room. It had both a shower and a bathtub. The shower drainage was quite slow, causing water to collect while showering. Because of that, we mostly used the bathtub instead, but there was no protective glass screen, so water could easily spill onto the floor unless you were very careful. A bathroom renovation would definitely be a nice improvement.

The location is absolutely perfect – very close to the train station and right next to the city center, and just steps away from many shops and restaurants. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and had a very pleasant atmosphere. The staff was incredibly polite and welcoming. Everything was convenient and easy. Highly recommended!

The only minor downside was that the room windows could not be opened. There is no direct access to fresh air, so ventilation relies entirely on the air conditioning system, though this is likely due to hotel safety regulations. However, this did not impact my stay at all, which was absolutely wonderful!
