Archway is a delightful, friendly, clean, comfortable guest house c10 mins walk from Windermere railway station, & minutes from shops, pubs & restaurants - yet still quiet & peaceful. Comfy bed, great shower! Excellent breakfast with fresh fruit, yoghurt, etc, as well as great cooked options. Anita & Denis are exceptionally kind & helpful, getting gluten & dairy free items for me, & even a surprise birthday gift 🎁!!
Nothing important! Our newly refurbished en-suite was very small, althoug the walk-in shower was roomy enough. Personally, I prefer a slightly firmer mattress...
