Fresh from a remodel, this three-bedroom Fort Bragg vacation rental has a bonfire pit (availability dependent on fire risk) and space for six guests! You'll hear the sounds of the ocean and have a peek at the rugged coast.

The location is fantastic: Fort Bragg is the gateway to the California Coastal National Monument, meaning you'll explore sand dunes, go whale watching, and collect sea shells along the untouched coastline. MacKerricher State Park and Lake Cleone are within walking distance of this cozy abode, and antique shopping, fine dining, and family fun centers are just a seven minute drive away making it the perfect location for your next family vacation!

The 1,700 square-foot home is bright and cheery offering an open-concept living room with a sofa and new dining table for six. Family board games, and a game room with a Ping-Pong table and Roku TV in the garage mean you'll never get cabin fever, and wireless Internet access allows you to stay plugged in when needed!

A full, newly remodeled, well-stocked kitchen and oversized island makes it easy to prepare meals for a large group. There are three bedrooms and two full baths in this single-level home: the master bedroom has a king bed, flat-screen TV, and work desk, a second has a queen, and an additional bedroom has two twin-sized beds for little guests.

Outside, you'll count shooting stars around the ornate iron bonfire pit, lounge in Adirondack patio furniture, or serve up a mean game of badminton. And with handicap and elder access, and private washer and dryers, this home is the perfect getaway for long days at the beach, and cozy late nights in good company.

For a day out and about, visit Mendocino Botanical Gardens, watch the seals at MacKerricher State Park or make the trip into town for fine sea food, and quaint antique shops.

This cheery Fort Bragg vacation rental is the perfect place to kick off your shoes, wiggle your toes in the sand, and enjoy the California coast in your home away from home!

We have been to fort Bragg many times staying in hotels. This time we decided to try an Airbnb. This house was amazing not far out of town and so quiet all the time. Rooms /beds were comfortable and great area. They had plenty of things to do around us and at the house it’s self. We will be staying here again for sure. We enjoyed it so much we booked an extra day

The holiday home was exactly as described, it was very spacious, clean and all the technical facilities worked perfectly. Only the older showers were a bit cramped, but there was plenty of hot water. It might be worth mentioning in this context that one of the two bathrooms leads directly off one of the bedrooms, while the second is accessible from all rooms. As promised, the holiday home was recently renovated, because the walls and ceilings were absolutely spotless and there was new, high-quality and very good-looking flooring everywhere. Now, perhaps the furniture could be updated a bit, as it is preferably old furniture that does not always match. It would be particularly sensible to replace the dining table with a successor, because not only was it very wobbly, but also very sticky on the top, and despite wiping it down several times, we were unable to get rid of this condition. And one or two of the now very grey towels could perhaps also be replaced. But that's all the criticism - it would be nice if there was so little to complain about in other holiday accommodations. Overall, we were very satisfied and would definitely stay here again if we were in the area again.

Great location. Wake up to deer nibbling in the front yard. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Plenty of indoor and outdoor entertainment if you decide to stay in after being out all day. We spent 2.5 hours playing ping-pong

We had a two day stay at this home for part of our four day total vacation. Overall we liked it. But we had a major issue that will keep me from booking this home again. PROS: the ping-pong table was a HIT with the family. The location was ideal; it was quiet and literally across the street from MacKerricher which we frequent a lot on our trips to the coast. The fire pit and seating were great! We loved the sand toys. The mattresses were comfortable as were the pillows. CONS: the place needs a good cleaning. It’s a bit outdated which we didn’t mind, but both showers were tiny, especially for our tall, large men in the family. The main bed was creaky and felt like it’s break under our weight any moment. There’s only one remote for the two televisions, and the internet instructions provided did not connect us to the wifi at all. There was no cable television as most of the channels had a message stating the Xfinity equipment needed to be upgraded and it had been mailed to the owner to replace. Most of the dishes were grossly dirty; by that I mean old food stuck on forks and spoons, in pans, etc. we had to wash every dish we used BEFORE we could use them. The shower curtain in the main bedroom’s bathroom has orange mold on it. The pillow on the main bedroom had a stain resembling someone else’s bodily fluid on it (I’m hoping so much it was drool and nothing else). The garage door to the home locks from the outside which was strange and uncomfortable. We didn’t feel very safe not being able to lock it, especially when we noticed the garage door to pull cars in was disengaged and could be pulled up by hand from anyone. Anyone could have accessed the home from the garage. We had no way of locking access to the home. The worst part was when we came back less than 15 minutes after checkout because my husband forgot some belongings. We cleaner was already there and in the main bedroom where we had slept, and we noticed she was using the same sheets we just slept in for two days. No washing them. No changing the bedding at all. THE. SAME. SHEETS. WE PUT BACK ON. I was completely disgusted and couldn’t wait to get to our next destination to shower. Now I know why the pillowcase had a stain of someone else’s fluids on it. The cleaners don’t really do a whole lot of cleaning. But to sleep in the same sheets as strangers before me. My goodness. That issue also me will prevent me from renting again. Otherwise we would have because we liked it a lot. The cleanliness was the worst and for the amount we paid, especially in cleaning fees, I expected so much more. Even the cheapest of hotels cleans their bedding. The home was decent! The issues mostly really lie with the cleaning. And for that we were disappointed and disgusted.
