About this house rental
The house is 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, spacious kitchen/dining/living area with vaulted ceilings and skylights. It has a wood shingled exterior with a spacious open well lighted interior. The kitchen adjoins the common area with granite counter tops, craftsman wooden kitchen cabinets and Douglas-fir flooring. The large south-facing redwood decks are accessed from the south west bedroom and the common room through two French doors giving a view of the large enclosed fenced back yard. The house is set well back from the road by a large grassy front yard in a quiet semi-rural neighborhood. The family vacation house is close to beaches and sea cliffs, accessible by walking paths. Downtown Fort Bragg with restaurants, shops, a museum and the famous Skunk Train is close by.

Pictures don’t really do it justice! Beautiful open floor plan main room with high pitched ceilings, and bedrooms on either side. Great space for a crowd. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, yet super close to the Main Street and local attractions. Our kids loved running around the enclosed backyard. We primarily cooked at home, and apart from availability of spices (we realize this isn’t a requirement), it was well stocked! You had everything you needed as far as appliances and cookware. They even have a waffle maker available.Don’t hesitate on booking.

Four bedrooms, two with two beds each, flank a large great room with open plan kitchen. One bedroom has an en suite bathroom, the other bathroom is shared. Also a half bath in the laundry room. Large deck and fenced yard.Ideal for a family gathering.

The cottage is huge and was bedrooms well spaced for privacy. We had a family wedding and were constantly moving activities all weekend. The location was close to other family members staying nearby and all activities were not further than 15 minutes. Everything was clean inside the cottage and easy to find. Christopher was very communicative.

PROS: The house included all the amenities as advertised with a large kitchen, rooms, and yard. We were close to all the site seeing locations and the house was easy to find upon arrival.
CONS: communication on how to enter the home was not included prior to arrival. We had to wait for owner to contact us with explicit instructions for entry, internet instructions, and use of the home. We have rented many vacation homes, and this was a first to have daily interaction with the owner.
SUGGESTIONS: include house details such as well water, septic system, and propane for those that could be concerned. Include that homeowner still occasionally lives in the home and personal items can be found...along with a cat locked in the garage. Most homeowners have a secure place for their personal items, so the vacation house is impersonal and inviting to the guests.
If you like speaking with the owner frequently, this is the place for you.
