About this villa rental
Villa Lentisco is located in the beautiful bay of Cala del Gesso overlooking the sea and immersed in the Mediterranean scrub. It enjoys an enchanting view of the sea and islands, with unforgettable sunsets. The villa offers access on foot to Cala del Gesso beach in 10 minutes (distance 400 meters, altitude difference 80 meters).
The villa, all made of stone and with panoramic windows, has a large independent garden with 3 terraces where you can enjoy the sun and the view and have lunch or dinner with the sound of the waves. The garden has a barbecue.
Inside the furniture is of great taste and the spaces are distributed as follows:
- a double room
- a room with 2 + 2 beds
- a small room with 2 bunk beds and attached small bathroom
- large living room with fireplace and large dining space
- kitchen
- 1 larger bathroom (2 bathrooms in total),
- beautiful garden with veranda for outdoor dining
- private parking
The villa is independent. The Cala del Gesso beach, considered the most beautiful of Monte Argentario, is free, without establishment and ideal for snorkeling or sunbathing even in the colder months (it is in fact oriented to the west and is always very hot and sunny).
The car is necessary to go shopping in Porto S. Stefano (7 km) or to go and relax in Orbetello or Porto Ercole (half an hour's drive) full of shops and restaurants. Splendid panoramic walks, on foot or by car, are possible on the whole Argentario and in the surrounding Maremma Toscana. From Porto Santo Stefano it is possible to quickly reach the Giglio, Giannutri or other islands of the Tuscan Archipelago.
Please note: guests are asked to pay cash on arrival for an extra cost of delivery and final cleaning equivalent to 190 € to which are added 10 € for linen x each occupant. Thank you.

Very nice place and the wiew are fantastic. You have to be an experianced driver to get to the place and the car has to be a small one.

Wir haben gefunden, was wir gesucht haben: Ein sehr schönes Domizil, etwas abseits und mitten in der Natur. Besuch auf der Terrasse von Eidechsen, Eichelhähern und anderen Tieren sind inbegriffen.
Wegen der Zufahrt zum Ferienhaus sollte man keine Angst vor engen, kurvigen Gassen in Hanglage haben😃.
Am Ziel wird man belohnt. Für den Weg runter zum Strand ist Trittsicherheit von Vorteil. Ein schönes Kleinod der Natur, der Ab- und Aufstieg lohnt sich!
Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin hat sehr gut geklappt und war sehr angenehm.

Abbiamo soggiornato a luglio in 8 persone (4 adulti e 4 ragazzi). Confermiamo che la villa è situata in un contesto incantevole e tranquillo, circondata dalla vegetazione si può godere di un panorama mozzafiato sul mare di fronte a Cala Gesso. L’esterno è la parte più godibile di questa villa, ci sono due tavoloni, uno sotto il portico e l’altro sotto un pergolato vicino al boschetto dove si può cenare ammirando il panorama. È presente anche una doccia esterna situata in mezzo ad un boschetto di lecci che abbiamo usato molto volentieri dopo la salita da Cala Gesso. Abbiamo trovato l’interno della casa pulito e in ordine ma andrebbe migliorata la dotazione di pentole in quanto alcune non sono utilizzabili (pentola a pressione senza la valvola di sfogo, padelle rovinate...) e altre le abbiamo trovate sporche. Andrebbe anche rinnovata la dotazione di bicchieri, tazzine, tazze, piatti perchè sbeccati e molto usurati.
I due ventilatori che ci sono e che si utilizzano, dato che l’aria condizionata copre solo la zona giorno, erano molto sporchi tanto più che li abbiamo dovuti pulire prima di usarli.
Io e mio marito eravamo sistemati nella cameretta con i letti a “castello” che, come si vede dalla foto, è piccola. Per salire sul letto superiore è necessaria l'abilità di un acrobata! E' fissato al soffitto con funi. Anche la scaletta per accedervi è di corda e quindi basculante. Non abbiamo potuto riporre i nostri indumenti da nessuna parte ; fatta eccezione per una cassettiera piccola,e per giunta scomoda, perché il posto adibito ad armadio era stracolmo di scatoloni e oggetti vari, quindi utilizzato come ripostiglio.
La signora che ci ha accolto,la proprietaria non è in loco, è stata gentile ma sbrigativa e approssimativa.
