Ivana and her family were most welcoming during our stay. We were greeted on arrival by Ivana who showed us the apartment and local area and there was a chilled bottle of wine and home grown cherries from the garden which were delicious. The children jumped straight into the pool which was for our exclusive use the whole time.
The apartment was fully air conditioned which is needed in the heat and has wi fi access.
The apartment was well located with a supermarket just within 5 mins down the road and bakery a little further. Lapad Beach was very close but watch out - Dubrovnik has many steps!!!! In lapad there are many bars and restaurants to explore but down the road close to the apartment is Solitudo bar and grill which was a great find very close to home if you looking for something even closer.
The old town is just a short bus ride on the No 6 bus taking you straight to pile gate so convenient !
All the tours we had picked us up directly at the bus stop which was literally a stones throw away.
I would definitely come again. Coincidentally their neighbour was our driver to the airport and most friendly !
I think I would have been useful to have maybe a folder with maps and tours etc in the apartment but to be honest one walk down to the beach and the promenade is full of tourist information so it wasn’t at all a problem.
