Lovely host, delicious breakfast. Very nice feel to the house. Very clean room and ensuite. Modern bathroom appliances, great quality shower gel and shampoo. Tea/instant coffee plus kettle in room.
Lack of sound insulation between ours and the neighbouring room(communicating door). Strangely windows were dirty and flower boxes empty but for what looked like weeds - probably temporary oversights.
Mattresses not in their first youth.

Quirky french place, a cultural experience ! Walking distance of town, canal and the stations.
The host presented the house beautifully and provided a decent albeit limited bread based breakfast.
I found the host friendly but in a stern way, I felt very much like a business transaction rather than a guest in her home - which to be fair is the truth but it could have been more welcoming. For an old property the walls were thin, I could hear the guest in the room next door and sadly people talking on the floor above until gone 3am !
I travelled alone, this was a quirky place and an experience I'm pleased I had but I wouldn't stay here again, quite lonely not seeing the other guests and sitting at breakfast with no others in the room.
