It was easy to walk to the property from the station

Very friendly and considerate host. Walking distance from west station. Hassle free check in. Helpful with luggage storage. Kitchen was fully operational.

Response time was slow. We did not get the city paas the day we came in. Only 1 washroom for 5 ppl.

I’ll be honest, I saw a lot of mixed reviews online and had my doubts about booking this place at first. But after staying here, I think it’s a fantastic option depending on what you’re looking for! The location is unbeatable, just a few minutes’ walk from the Interlaken West train station. If you’re like me and spend your entire day out hiking or exploring the mountains, this is a total win. I really only used the room for the basics, showering and sleeping, so I didn't need anything fancy. While I can see where some of the more critical comments are coming from, you have to keep expectations realistic. If you're looking for a budget stay or are traveling as a group of students, this is it!

The stay was great overall, though there are a couple of things that could make it even better. The room could really use some sturdier curtains to help block out the light, and I noticed a few spots that could use some minor maintenance. It’s nothing that ruined the trip, but a little bit of upkeep would definitely go a long way in making the space feel more refreshed!

In general, this apartment is really very good! All facilities are provided and I see some attention to every detail in everything. You have kitchen for cooking with all facilities. The room is pretty warm which is highly important on winter time. The bed is comfortable even if Im not sure about its cleaning. The location is top (you can see mountain from your window) and can easily go on foot to the restaurants and cafes.

The main problem was a smoking smell which totally ruined my night sleep in this room. I can’t stand it, I couldn’t open the window to get fresh air because it was cold on December. The hotel owner is indifferent - a couple of messages for check-in, no any clear info and any basic care. Maybe she doesn’t know English but some “could you check-in, is everything okay, let me know if something needed” might be so-so basic, I think. Pretty late check-in and early check-out so basically for 1 night you have no time to observe this magic Interlaken. Interlaken deserves more careful attention and observation.
