We got upgraded to The Joiners Cottage which was lovely and clean.
Very modern interior
There was a lot of unused space in the cottage. Nowhere to hang coats or put things in the bathroom.
Access was a nightmare as the step up was 3 bricks high but we managed it all the same.

cool unique bed frame (with a very comfy mattress) and good decor
no lamp in the bedroom and couldn’t get the wall light to work so had to use the big light

The Lodge is in a brilliant location close to Harrogate town centre.
The accomodation was lovely and warm ( very cold weather at the time of stay).
The room did not look as if it had been properly cleaned - thick dust on most surfaces, toilet not well cleaned, with long dark hair around base of toilet.
The carpet had not been hoovered , and bathroom floor was dirty.
