Dinner that night
Hostess wanted to keep our passports over night, which we had to insist giving them back to us. We ate dinner there which was very good, pasta and salad, but we never saw a menu or price sheet so have no idea until check out what things cost and even then it was just summed up. No details. Breakfast which she insisted on us having was very basic for 6 euros each and she made it sound like we had to have it. We felt trapped there as we were walking the Via Francegena and had no car.
