Gorgeous, full of character, wonderful host, Maurice, great location within walking distance of cafes restaurants. We’ve stayed many times, always welcomed. Our dogs welcomed. Beautifully decorated xx

I rate this hotel 100 out of 10. The interiors are magnificent, the owner is very kind and responsive. Maurice loves Chinon, knows its history, and puts his heart and soul into the hotel. The room is very comfortable, the bathroom has everything you need, including slippers and robes. The bed is very comfortable. Special thanks for the wonderful breakfast. It has everything even the pickiest gourmet could desire – fragrant pastries, four types of juice, jams, preserves, fruit, and even baked apples. I highly recommend this place. Thank you, Maurice!
