Had a lovely stay at Rooms.
This was our third visit to Oakham to spend some time with friends so we knew the area pretty well but Alison our host was very prompt and knowledgeable with my questions including where to get good coffee.
The accommodation was perfect as it is very central and near everything that you need.
Very near the car Park which is free from 6pm until 8am and then to be honest we left our car at our friend’s house.
Very near the train station and bus stops.
We took advantage of the free bus that takes you into Stamford which is a must visit. If going to Stamford I would highly recommend The Blonde Beet for great Vegan food and coffee. We are not Vegan.
Accommodation was as described and yes it is above restaurants/cafes and yes you can hear them setting up for opening but I love that feeling of hearing the day begin.
Apartment spotless,Bed comfy and clean, shower lovely and spacious.
We always just look for a central base when going anywhere as we are out all day so this apartment was exactly what we needed.
We would definitely book again…probably wouldn’t bother with anywhere else unless the price increased.

Mmm…bleach for the toilet, more than two mugs as we drink a LOT of tea and the mugs stained as had to keep using the same two…sorry!

Clean and comfortable, great location, cereals, milk and drinks very welcoming.
Kitchen facilities sparse as are utensils, no sharp knife. No instructions/facility for recycling.
