Marnie was very friendly and approachable.. Rooms clean. Comfy beds. Good kitchen facilities. Road noise not a problem after we went to bed (I was worried as it is on the main road out of Opua).
Garden area pleasant to sit in for meals. Good parking for cars (one per unit - might be a problem is there was more than one car per unit).
Wasn't aware that the rooms were not serviced until our stay - not really a problem, just a surprise. Able to get extra supplies if needed

Good view across the street
Too many flys and insects at night time when there is no aircon and no fly screen in a hot summer, we could not shut the window or sliding door totally but then insects, mosquitos and flys come through. I have to wake up at midnight to fight to mosquitos.
