So pleased with the spa room! Everything was so clean, I felt like nobody else had stayed in it yet. The hosts had thought of everything—stocked kitchenette complete with an oven/stove, small bit of milk in the fridge for tea, and chargers for our plug in vehicle. The room was huge, with a wonderfully large table for the whole family to eat at, and I felt so cozy like I was staying in a home, not a hotel or lodge. The yard in the back was delightful fun for our kids to play on. Everything we wanted to see was within 5 or 10 minutes drive. Would definitely stay again! Thanks for a lovely time!

It was clean. Located near the centre of town and right beside the famous Makana chocolatier boutique store. The back garden was beautiful to wake up to.
Acoustics (but true for most NZ structures) . We can hear the conversation from the adjacent room- and they were not loud people. Unfortunately, they kept talking way past midnight.

The owners are lovely! Our room was good size.
The water pressure was very low in the shower.

Staff was nice welcoming & location was nice quiet peaceful.
Sheets were little bit dirty stained and bed to soft.
Shower plug was broken stains on carpet floor wifi didn't work but was fixed quickly.
