We arrived at the accommodation early as we had a morning flight into Dublin. We let our host know and Niamh was there waiting for us having already prepared our room. The location is amazing and the view from our room was as good as any we have had - overlooking the hills and Liffey lake. You put your breakfast order in the night before and have a good selection. It was lovely and just about the right amount to you well fuelled until lunch. The property owns the land all the way down to the lake and so after breakfast and before departure, we walked down stopping to see the very friendly donkeys and goats in the fields. There is even a place to borrow some wellies for if ground is a bit wet and muddy. Everything in the room was very comfortable with a nice selection with the tea/coffee making facilities. Our hosts were very excellent throughout our stay, always available if we needed them. Thoroughly recommend Abhainn Ri Farmhouse and we would not hesitate in staying here again next time we are in and around the Dublin area. Can also recommend the Ballymore Inn, a nice restaurant about 10-15 minutes drive from the accommodation.
Can't think of anything that would have made this stay any better.

Five stars absolutely isn’t enough for our stay at Abhainn Ri Farmhouse. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and taken care of. The farmhouse itself is beautiful, peaceful, and cozy, with stunning scenery all around.
The breakfast was incredible, truly one of the best we’ve had while traveling. Fresh, delicious, and made with so much care. One of my favorite parts was getting to pet the donkeys, which completely made my day.
The location was also perfect, walking distance to the lake featured in P.S. I Love You, and close to several other filming locations, which made the experience feel even more magical.
If you’re looking for a warm, authentic Irish countryside stay with kind hosts, amazing food, and beautiful surroundings, this is it. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
