La Cantina Relais - Fattoria Il Cipresso

1. Spacious rooms in a rural style. Large and comfortable bed. Large bathroom with high quality toiletries. Lovely view out the windows - our room (and bathroom) overlooked the lawn and pool. 2. Lovely owner Alberto and his amazing staff - they take the overall experience to another level entirely. Everyone is friendly, and it's clear they take pride in their work. 3. True farm to table dining at breakfast and dinner. Typical Italian breakfast served at the table, with delicious cakes, jams, breads, eggs, cured meats and cheeses, juice. Dinner is made with very high quality ingredients, and it shows in the flavours. We ate three dinners and each was excellent. 4. Well located, with dozens of good dining options within a 15 minutes driving radius.

I'm nitpicking now, but I wish the pool was heated... The poolside is a lovely place, but the water in mid-May was just too cold for me.

Even though the property was exceptional , it was the lovely, professional and kind staff who made the true difference. Don’t get me wrong, everything was amazing and beyond our wildest expectations. We wish their kindness and welcoming nature could be bottled up and provided hotels everywhere. ❤️❤️ miss you already, Alberto and. Christina and all, but we will return.

We loved our stay here. It was beautiful for the holidays. Peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and satisfying. I especially loved the baked apples. We also greatly enjoyed a superb meal in the greenhouse.very special for our celebration of our daughter’s engagement. Everything here was top notch. The area and Arezzo are well worth a visit. It must be amazing in warm weather. I’d love to return and stay longer!!!
