The location was very central and easy to walk to everything in Old Town. Kristina was awesome. I left a credit card there and she sent it to my next location.
There is a bar called Charlie’s Backpack that is almost never closed. If you sleep in the front room be prepared for noise late in the night. I couldn’t hear it from the back room with my white noise. We decided if you can’t beat them, join them, and we went to Charlie’s Backpack the following night and had fun. It was a younger crowd, however!

Although I had messaged several weeks prior to arrival asking about boat tours and walking tours, I did not get a response from the hostess until a couple of days prior to our arrival. She was very helpful once we were within a couple of days of arrival, and provided us with excellent information regarding parking and had someone come and meet us as we were on our way to the meeting spot. He gave us pointers for getting around, things to do, and helped carry the the bag up the stairs for our older adult. The keys were easy to find and keep track of with a lockbox on the apartment front door, and the location is very convenient. We were close to the water for a quick walk to catch our boat tour and to get anywhere else we needed to go.
Anyone considering this apartment should make sure they are looking at the pictures for this particular apartment. There are several different apartments in the same listing, each with their own set of pictures that you have to scroll to on the top and click on once the listing is opened. The picture on the home page for this listing is definitely not this apartment. There is no view and no nice large window letting in streams of morning light.
To offer this as an apartment that comfortably sleeps 5 adults is stretching it. There is no living space other than a small kitchen table that seats four and the bedrooms are so tiny that there is barely room for the bed with little room for even a backpack or moving around. With one of the bedrooms having two twin beds and the other a bunk bed (double on bottom and single on top) this would be more appropriate for a family of 2 adults and 3 young children. We had a mother and grown son, a couple, and a single adult, so this was a rather cramped and uncomfortable arrangement.
As previous reviews have noted there is very little kitchenware. There is a coffee maker with tea and coffee provided, but there were only 3 cups.
The apartment itself was clean; however, the building and hallways are filthy and the smell of smoke in them is overwhelming and carries into the apartment. Although the apartment may be non-smoking, the building is decidedly NOT. It is also very loud at night with the club crowds walking under the windows and the couple downstairs arguing on and off all night.
