Iron Gates Apartments

Me gustó mucho y bueno ligeramente incómodo lo de las escaleras.

Sólo deberían avisar lo de las escaleras para personas mayores para que no se sorprendan.

The facilities were a little sparse and run down

The location was very central and easy to walk to everything in Old Town. Kristina was awesome. I left a credit card there and she sent it to my next location.

There is a bar called Charlie’s Backpack that is almost never closed. If you sleep in the front room be prepared for noise late in the night. I couldn’t hear it from the back room with my white noise. We decided if you can’t beat them, join them, and we went to Charlie’s Backpack the following night and had fun. It was a younger crowd, however!

Host was lovely and good location. Responsive when kitchen itens were missing.

Deluxe Apartment Over all this apartment was very disappointing and the listing photos felt misleading. It appeared that very little effort went into making this apartment comfortable. It was very woren down. Here is a list of things that was a problem: - extra blankets smelled like cigarette smoke and others smelled unwashed - light fixtures were missing throughout apartment - frying pan old & broken, no toaster, other broken items. - walls marked up and dirty. Desperately needs a paint job - main bed frame was peeling and leaving a mess on floor - drain in shower backed up - sewer smell coming from drain in bathroom - there was so much oce build up in the freezer that we could not use it. - apartment felt old and worn down (needs some attention). - pictures are misleading. The main ones advertised seemed to be the nicest but not the same standard throughout all the apartments. - location is different than avertized. Still in Old Town - had to pay cash or bank transfer though not clearly stated on booking. Found this out 3 days before check in. With ATMs at such low exchange rate I had to ask my husband to wire money from Canada. Very inconvient. - Heaters in room didn't work. I was not expecting fancy but this place felt run down. It has potential to be really cute. Lastly it is loud. Not the fault of the apartment but good to know if you are hoping to get a good rest this is not the place for you.
