Beautiful old mansion with elegant dining room and patio, Perfect location in historic center, near restaurants and museums, free parking, good security. Excellent breakfast with cold buffet and hot dishes cooked to order. Quiet.
Needs a gym. Has a spa and pool but no exercise equipment.

The excellent location and style of the building. Really beautiful … and impression that you are travelling back in time!
Good restaurant and excellent service for food service, especially the Sommelier!
However… it is extremely noisy and traffic next door is absolutely horrific.. only get rooms on the garden side but not lucky for us, we had a noise of pump machine on our wall which was really annoying.
Staff should also make a small effort to communicate in English…

The location is perfect for taking in the historical area of Petropolis, the 1875 mansion functioning as a hotel is beautiful, the restaurant Leopoldina is one of tthe best in the area
The room, and particularly the bathroom, was a bit worn around the edges
