Agostino was a magnificent host and he was always ready to be of assistance. The room was beautiful, large and decorated in historical Italian style. Breakfast was delicious, a selection of everything from fresh Italian pastries to fruit and coffee. Location to the city centre was an easy 10 minute walk.

We liked everything about this property!

This is an old fashioned B & B, meaning they provide a room with a private bath and communal breakfast. It seems like a home converted to five suites, with a common breakfast/salon area. It is in an apartment building in what we found to be a great location. It is an easy walk to anything in the center of Bologna yet quiet and comfortable. The entire facility was very clean, though a bit cluttered. The clutter appeared to be things for guests, brochures, guides, books, maps, that sort of thing. Our room was situated off of a common courtyard and included a small balcony. The room had a lot of furniture for its size and felt cramped to us. We are both minimalists, so it may not be an objective observation. Everything worked and again, was very clean. The closet had plenty of clothes hangers. Our room came with a complimentary bowl of fruit and bottle of water. Soap and body wash were provided in the bathroom. The breakfast was pastries, small panini, cheese, fruit, juice, yogurt, and coffee freshly prepared by Agostino. Agostino was very thoughtful and really wants his guests to enjoy their stay with plenty of recommendations for things not just in Bologna but regionally as well. It was very quiet at night and in May when we stayed the temperature was comfortable.

For my tastes, too much clutter.

It was charming and beautiful and unusual. Our room was very large and immaculate and spotless. There were additional personal touches to the room… fresh fruit, water .. which were so appreciated. Agostino, our host was so kind , helpful, and interesting. Breakfast each morning was delicious and a great opportunity to meet and chat with other guests if wished. The building is so close to the centre.. it’s an easy walk into town in 10 minutes. I would happily stay here again and my daughter and I were sorry to leave
