Amazing luxury hotel Staff very helpful - especially a waiter called Fed

Pool was a bit hot (never ever said this before anywhere!)

pool was great! very warm and fun in the middle of winter. Nice areas to just sit on the grass and listen to music.

The heated pool was excellent.

Nothing.

The location was good to easily reach Assisi and nearby villages. We appreciated having a parking space available at all times. Praises to the head waiter and the barman who were very kind when attending to us.

For a 4 stars the hotel is disappointing and definitely needs improvement. We complained about the room being hot and the air con not working and the staff was initially uncooperative. They then said they couldn't switch it on due to some Council regulations. Only after a long discussion did they accept to consult their manager who then offered a bottle of Prosecco. It has to be highlighted that nowhere on Booking.com it was stated that the air con wouldn't be available at the property - regardless of the motivation this is misleading to say the least. We tried the pool only once because it was so hot that it was uncomfortable to swim in, other guests shared the same experience with us. To get to the pool we had to pass through the Meeting room - where an event was being hosted - in our swimming costumes and robes. The hotel is clearly popular among groups as several of them were present during our stay, one also with kids playing football in the hall. So if you look for a peaceful place this is not it. The breakfast choice is varied but low quality, which is part of the improvements needed. Same goes for the restaurant.
