Excellent location, lovely rooms as they were newly renovated. Beds very comfortable and spacious.
Building works started drilling at 7am on Saturday morning. I asked reception to consider a later start for the builders on Sunday morning.. perhaps at 10am -it being a Sunday and was told there was nothing she could do, they’d be starting at 8am on Sunday regardless.

I stayed here during renovations and therefore booked for a good price. I was lucky and got a renovated room with a view, so it exceeded my expectations. I wasn’t disturbed by any sounds during my stay, but the whole reception area was a construction site.
Was definitely a good deal for the money I had paid!
I would have appreciated a complimentary bottle of water and tea/coffee making facilities. Only half of a toilet paper roll was provided.
The room was cold and I couldn’t get Netflix to work (I didn’t have time to watch it anyways).

It was in renovation so it was a bit chaotic and dusty. There were some drunk guests (?) at the reception who made some comments before the reception person told them to go on the other side of the room.

Breakfast was good. Reasonable price for the selection.
Room a good size for a stay of 1 or 2 nights. Minimal noise from main road when windows are shut as it is well insulated.
Location walking distance to the city, river & lake. Can be located easily from train station.
Shower room with minimal bath products. Shower gel bottle was almost empty. Bad water drainage in the shower, hence, tendency of water flowing out on to the floor of shower room. No internet connection despite receptionist said no password needed to enter Ibis Hotspot.
