The welcome on arrival - a choice of rooms - an excellent evening meal and a superb breakfast. Every member of the staff were friendly and helpful and we will happily come again.

Characterful and quirky premises with charm
The building feels generally tired.
The bathroom was shoddy and dated. The door jammed on the uneven floor and the the extractor fan didn't work. The shower control was confusing because the old system has been left in place with a new one alongside.
The lighting in the bedroom was poor and supplemented by lamps on extension leads.
The price paid was premium rate due to a special birthday it was disappointing.
