Environmentally friendly, well equipped rooms, comfortable beds, good and quiet air conditioning, proximity to many amenities. The balconies in the new section - my friend had one of those rooms.
The only thing I found difficult was the squeezable soap dispensers - not as easy for someone with a bit of arthritis in the hands.

Excellent location for a short exploration visit to Lausanne. Beautiful lakeside & Mountain Views but also close to the Metro for visiting the city and its delightful Altstadt & Cathedral.
The outside appearance needs a refresh perhaps.

Our bed only had a doona and a bottom sheet not a top sheet. So I requested a bottom sheet and that was provided.

The location overlooking the Lake was exceptional. The room and breakfast were good and as expected for this type of chain hotel.
The prices in the bar were outrageous. For example, a single tot of Jamesons whisky was 17 euros when the shop next door sold a bottle for 29. In general the bar area which caters for snacks and ice creams was not pleasant.
