Good value for money. Many other places in this beautoful area cost a great deal more for the same service.
Friendly staff and flexibility of the 24 hr cafe in addition to the lodge's restaurant is also a plus.

Staff were very friendly and approachable, the room was spotless. Food was lovely. Kids beds seemed ok but the springs on our mattress had given up the will to live and so it was very uncomfortable. Everything else was perfect

Purdy Lodge has all the basics if no frills. Despite the A1 to the front , the back looks onto tranquil fields. Dogs are welcome. Not good for those of us with allergies causing asthma and so on.
