Great location on the river. Great service from the staff who went out of their way to help us. Outstanding!! Amazing quality of food at dinner and breakfast.
The shower controls were difficult to operate.

Our Executive Room at The Legacy Rose and Crown was very comfortable. It was large, attractively furnished, and very well maintained. The bed was excellent, and it was very large as well. There was a proper wardrobe (closet) with sufficient clothes hangers. The WiFi/Internet worked well as did the central heating (and the safe). Parking was easy and convenient.
The marvelous feature of our room was the view -- a postcard-pretty view of the lawn, the river and the trees across the river.
We had dinner twice at the hotel dining room and were very favourably impressed -- interesting and tasty dishes attractively presented.
It's a pity that the room is not equipped with a mini-bar/mini-refrigerator.
To reach our room from the reception it was necessary first to walk along a long corridor and climb a half-flight of steps and then to go down a half-flight of steep and curving steps. That could well be seriously challenging for someone whose mobility is restricted.
