Hotel Parc Belair

Great view of the Park from my room.

It was a bit more expensive than I normally pay but that’s probably just Luxembourg prices.

The design

Pillows and bed was extremely comfy and shower was fab Bed was very comfortable. Pillows were like a marshmallow, you just sink right in. Shower was very good quality and the bathroom overall. Location really good, bus stop outside. Seemed however most things worth seeing were either central or slightly ride of city centre. Still, bus's were pretty frequent. Nice terrace at the back when the weather is nice, overlooking a park.

Only real issues were the kettle could do with descaling, as we made tea one evening and there appeared to be scum on top. Almost like a layer of some liquid. Even after reboiling and trying again, there was still enough. Another was the breakfast was only so-so. We got breakfast the last morning and the selection was quite limited. The pancakes were just left cold on a plate, the bacon was overly salty and not that warm. Pastries and cold meats was fine. At night, you can also hear the pipes knocking and banging which was a bit disturbing. Also, the door of the room was difficult to close and needed to be pushed or pulled hard.

Bus line on the street outside, perfect to go the into town and buses are free!
