The property was beautiful. The pool and view was amazing and the staff were fantastic.
The hill going up is a bit steep. The taxis are very expensive so we had to walk everywhere so not the fault of the hosts. We got used to the hill after a while. Everything else was fantastic

Superb view, could have looked out over that sea and sky for ever. Great swimming pool, with sea view. Room with tv, comfy bed, with kettle for hot drinks, fridge, good shower. The family couldn't have been more helpful, even taking me to the supermarket for my first shopping trip. There is a bus service in either direction( into Corfu town, about twenty minutes, or into Benitses, about ten minutes) There is a swimmable shingle beach with clear water at the bottom of the drive - very calm.
I wasn't expecting such a long steep drive up to the property. You need to be either fit or to rent a car. I did manage the walk up and down, but anyone with really dodgy knees or mobility problems would really struggle. There is only one restaurant in walking distance.( but plenty in Benitses, or of course Corfu.)
