Our family stayed at this hotel for 5 days. We really enjoyed our vacation! The all-inclusive system truly met our expectations — everything was included. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, always ready to help. The food was delicious and varied, so everyone could find something to their taste. There were plenty of entertainment options and activities for children, which we especially appreciated. The staff were also very kind and attentive to kids.
The room was clean, as was the entire hotel area — the beach was well maintained and everything was tidy. It was very convenient to always have access to clean towels by the pool and on the beach. We would also like to highlight the comfortable transfer to and from the airport.
There is also an option to rent a boat or book a trip, which is a great addition to the experience. We choose a trip and were truly impressed — it was one of the highlights of our stay!
We were left with only positive impressions!

Our first trip to Corfu was truly unforgettable thanks to the outstanding experience at Daphnila Bay! From the moment we arrived, Karen at Reception made us feel so welcome, and Theolis in the buffet restaurant provided exceptional service throughout our stay. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making our holiday special. We apologise as we cannot recall a few names but they were fantastic. The Kids Club was fantastic, an inpromptu disco was arranged as the weather was not great and the kids had a lot of fun. The entire resort impressed us with its cleanliness, stunning surroundings, and luxurious feel. We are deeply grateful to everyone at Daphnila Bay for making our stay so perfect — we can’t wait to return!

Pools, beach, room size for a family of five was spacious which is often not the case, very flexible to add another night onto our booking, good selection of food to suit most tastes and snacks throughout the day
Marketed as an indoor pool, whereas it’s outdoor but with a roof, two sides open and not that hot. The bedroom we stayed in could do with a refurbish… not sure if indicative of all bedrooms. Needed more staff to serve drinks

That said, there are some positives. The personnel is excellent—very polite, attentive, and welcoming, offering service that feels truly five-star. Cleaning is good, though not excellent, and the beach area is nice, even if it does not fully match the photos advertised. The location is also very nice, which makes the shortcomings even more disappointing. Some sunbeds, however, are broken and again fall short of the Grecotel standard. The fine dining is around 8/10 (coming from a Greek local and gastronomy enthusiast). The hot stone first plates are a pleasant touch, but the quality of the meat served with them is extremely poor and drags down the experience.
It hurts me to write the below because I really liked the personnel but as someone who has stayed at many Grecotels across Greece, I can confidently say that this property does not meet the standard the brand is known for.
The biggest issue—and one that truly ruins the experience—is the overwhelming problem with bees around the food areas. They are everywhere during the day, to the point where eating becomes almost impossible. Bees land on your plate, fly into the food, and even get inside the cheese of the pizza. This isn’t a minor nuisance; it’s a serious, constant problem that makes dining very unpleasant.
The food quality itself is average. As a local Greek who has been to multiple Grecotels and luxury all-inclusive resorts, I would say it does not justify the price point. It may impress some foreign visitors, but for those familiar with higher-end resorts in Greece, the food is simply underwhelming. The “Asian” restaurant in particular is below average. Additionally, while the restaurants are marketed as “à la carte,” there are hidden limitations on the number of dishes you can order per person—something not clearly stated on their website or policies.
The buffet closes at 9:30 p.m., which in my opinion is very early for a resort of this level. The late-night snack menu is also very poor, and the room service prices are extremely high (for example, €36 for a simple chicken breast). To add to that, the juices (such as the orange juice I tried twice) were extremely watered down, almost like drinking plain water.
Another issue is communication with reception. It is practically impossible to reach them by phone, either through the main line or the in-room telephone. Guests are forced to text via WhatsApp, which is inconvenient and not what you would expect from a Grecotel.
If you care about fitness facilities, the gym is extremely poor.
