Pascale was an amazing host. Very welcoming and attentive. She gave great suggestions as to restaurants and places to visit. The apartment was also amazing. It is on a pedestrian street that is filled with restaurants and shops. Very well appointed and clean. I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone visiting Amboise. The location is an easy walk to the Royal Amboise Chateay. Leonardo Davinci’s home and the incredible market on Sundays. The office of Tourism is only 1.5 blocks away and is where you will meet your tour guides for all of your Loire Valley explorations

We spent almost a week at La Maison des Cochers and could not have been happier with our choice. Not only is the first-floor apartment convenient to reach - no schlepping of luggage up and down stairs -, it is also situated on a mostly pedestrian street with easy access to the castle, shops and restaurants.
The apartment itself is a mixture of antique furniture and modern appliances, integrated with whimsical pictures. The decor points to an artistic owner, and that owner, Pascale, proved to be an excellent hostess. Not only did she pick us up at the station on learning that we would arrive by train, she welcomed us with a bottle of regional wine and was always reachable in case we needed something. Thank you so much, Pascale.
P.S. For aficionados of French baguette for breakfast,
there is a bakery a few steps across the street.

This is a wonderful apartment in the centre of Amboise but also at the quiet end of town. The flat had everything we needed and is very well equipped, perfect for two. Pascale is a thoughtful and responsive host and the recent addition of the parking space was an added bonus. We were sad to leave this little gem.

Wonderful place with everything you need and a great host. I would highly recommend staying here and the location on the Rue national could not be more perfect as far as access to all of the sights and restaurants. It was a magical French experience.
