About this cabin rental
This larger studio-style garden cabin is popular for its amazingly comfortable king size bed, luxurious 310 thread count pima cotton linens with triple sheeting, and four pillows of varying firmness. A detached bunkhouse (~25' away from the main unit) is a hit with the kids. A cute cabin with extra touches you're sure to enjoy, it has become a favorite for young families any time of the year. Adjacent parking. No pets and no smoking. Full WiFi connectivity and satellite TV. Peek-a-boo views of our famous sunsets. A short (1 minute) path leads to our prime sand and pebble beach on the sunny west side of Orcas Island.
The living area consists of a deluxe wood-burning stove with blower, a comfy love seat and reading chair, and glass coffee table. You have a great little view of your small private yard overlooking our wildlife pond, and a peek-a-boo view of the water. Towering lofted ceilings and accent lighting add to the ambience of this cozy unit.
The kitchen includes a mini refrigerator, range, sink, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. The kitchen comes fully equipped with dishes and utensils for four people. Special items (i.e., large crab boiling pots, glass ovenware, etc.) may be available at the store, so be sure to ask if you need something that is not normally provided in the cottage.
A full bathroom is situated off the master bedroom and includes tile floors and a very large walk-in shower.
This cottage's covered patio is equipped with an outdoor table and chairs, and charcoal BBQ and utensils. A firepit area with chairs, hammock, and umbrella is located right outside the cabin with a great view of the wildlife pond and a partial view of the water and sunsets. The firepit and picnic table area are very private, and there is another smaller grassy area in front of the cabin that is also quite private.
The detached bunkhouse is a hit with the kids but can also be used as additional sleeping quarters for any guest. It consists of bunk beds that will sleep two guests.
Resort amenities include a communal hot tub, on-site cafe and store featuring gourmet Caffe Vita hand-crafted espresso, local draft beer and wine, Lopez Island Creamery Ice cream by the scoop, delicious oven-baked pizzas made-to-order, and a grocery area including beer, wine, pop, and basic groceries. We also have a waterfront seating and bar area, 400' pier and floating docks, and seasonal games including ping pong, volley ball, bocce ball, and more. Kayak and canoe rentals available.
