Owner lives in private basement suite accessed by a sideyard pathway by the dining area. Owner is very careful to maintain your privacy

This was a perfect place to stay as a home base for a family visit and access to various areas in and around Victoria. Caroline was so kind and responsive. The view is incredible. We couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommend.

Beautiful home in lovely setting. We felt like we were staying in a good friends home, unlike the sterile minimalist settings you get in some vacation rentals. The master suite is spectacular and perfect for lounging with a spacious deck. The kitchen was very well equipped and the induction hot plate and airfryer/toaster oven were fine for our needs. Caroline provided us with more treats than we could enjoy and was a wonderful host. We didn't get to use the hot tub but it was at perfect temperature and ready to go. We also appreciated that we could bring our two small dogs along. We hope to return in summer months next year to see the amazing garden in full bloom.

One of the best VRBO rentals we have stayed in. The house, yard and views are beautiful. The house is spotlessly clean, spacious and very well stocked with everything you need- truly feels like a home away from home. The host is very friendly and responsive and always available for questions and to help. Much appreciated Caroline.

Spacious well furnished with a gorgeous view we wished we could have stayed longer than 3 nights. The peace and quiet of the location belie the fact that the main centre of the city of Victoria was a very short drive away. Close to supermarkets, top attractions like Buchart Gardens and many restaurants the house was like home with a well stocked kitchen, fluffy bathrobes and towels and the A frame gave beautiful views of Portage Inlet. Caroline’s well tended garden framed every picture! A truly unique and outstanding property!
