About this apartment rental
This beautiful 3 Bedroom, 2 bath property is just steps from the pristine and peaceful beach at Marina Del Rey, and a short walk to the shops, nightlife, restaurants and the famous beaches of Venice, California!
I also have a studio in the same building that can be rented separately for parties needing a 4th bedroom (VRBO Listing #846988) in addition to a PENTHOUSE 4 bedroom (VRBO Listing # 846983). There are a total of 3 units and 8 bedrooms in this beach-side rental.
Guest will have access to the 3 bedroom, 2 bath unit, a private garage with 2 car tandem parking available and an outdoor patio downstairs with seating and a BBQ for enjoying the Southern California sunshine!
There is no air conditioning in the unit but there is a strong cross breeze- being so close to the beach and with the coastal breezes it is easy to keep the room cool.
The unit sleeps 8 comfortably. There is a California King bed in the master bedroom, queens in the 2nd and 3rd bedroom and a queen pull out sofa. All the mattresses (even the pull out sofa) have very comfortable memory foam mattresses.
The unit has all new furniture and beds (there are a few antiques I brought back from China and Thailand mixed in as well.)
The unit is in close proximity of LAX, 5.9 miles, about 12 minutes with no traffic.

We charge $79 for Property Damage Protection. This fee will release you for any accidental damage to the property up to $2,000. We do not collect a deposit. In the event there is damage in excess of $2,000 you will be responsible.
*We typically set our nightly rates 4-6 months in advance. In the event you are looking to reserve our property farther in advance please inquire about our exact rates BEFORE making a "Book It Now" or "Instant Book" reservation.
We accept insta book for this property, however, we reserve the right to cancel within 12 hours in the unlikely event there is a reservation on another booking site. We have not had to do this yet but make this rule as a precaution only.
We reserve the right to cancel your an instant booking reservation within 24hrs of the booking if your dates leave between 1 and 3 nights open from an existing reservation. This is rarely done and we will normally notify you within a few hours. Contact us for exceptions.
The check in time is 4pm. On rare occasion housekeeping or maintenance issue might prevent us to prepare the unit by 4pm we reserve the right to move the check in time to 6pm .

Long-term lease is also available.
Long Term Leases will require a separate lease agreement to be executed. Security deposit required.

We enjoyed our stay in this unit. Unless you want to be right in the center of the "action", this is a great location in a quiet neighborhood yet reasonably easy/fast to get to. Its a few short blocks to Washington Ave and the Venice Boardwalk, and essentially one block to both a canal path and the beach.
The landlords are very responsive and seemed genuinely concerned that we had a good stay. When we arrived the thermostat appeared to be malfunctioning. The landlord came over almost immediately to try to repair it, and promptly called a service technician while also offering to provide additional space heaters if needed. The problem was fully resolved to our satisfaction.
The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is the garage. The owners have a couple of file cabinets, a charcoal grill, a boat trailer, and some other junk in the garage, making it impractical to put in two cars and use all the doors on both cars. Its a tight fit in any case, but with the other stuff, only two short cars really fit ok.

Great location! Close enough to walk to the beach yet far enough away to be in a quiet neighborhood. Very spacious 3 bedroom. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were able to walk to restaurants and shopping nearby. We will definitely try to stay here again on our next trip!

2 blocks from the Canals and the beach. Good locale and walking distance to Venice Beach pier.
Could use more pillows and sheets but overall it had everything we needed.
Heads up on the following fee: an additional $500 refundable deposit if you bring a pet. This is in addition to the $500 included in the overall fees for your rental for a pet.
