About this house rental
Big Ocean views & covered hot tub on a quiet road overlooking the vast Pacific Ocean. Although in town , this home has a very private feel. There are 3 Queen Beds and 4 twin beds. Lower level with big ocean views has fully stocked kitchen and opens to private patio with hot tub, picnic table, porch swing & yard with new firepit. All overlooking the ocean! Living room has huge picture windows, floor to ceiling river rock fireplace, open beams , vaulted ceiling & Big Screen Tv with hardwood floors throughout. Great spot for surf & sand views, sunsets or Whale watching. There is an additional wrap around upper deck . Perfect for lounging on wooden Adirondack chairs while watching the surf roll in. Completely furnished with linens and towels.

We had an amazing time! The house is clean and comfortable and has its own quirks and charm, which I love. It is accurately fully equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and plenty of towels so we didn’t have to do dishes and laundry the whole time. The hot tub worked great and was kept warm clean. I absolutely loved sitting at the fire pit, listening to the ocean and watching the shooting stars above. The view is beautiful. I will definitely come back!

The only thing we looked for was the switch for the hot tub lighting. Really a great spot. Will come back during summer months.

We wanted to like this rental, but were disappointed. We stayed from Sept 2 to the 5th, 2024. First thing we noticed upon opening the door was the musty smell, even the bedding. We opened all the windows and washed the sheets for the beds we used. Washer/dryer are noisy/squeaky. The entire house needs updating. Showers are small, and the water pressure is low. I was looking forward to close/easy beach access. It's a bit of a walk downhill, and back up (I'm 70). There was construction (known by host) which closed the access, requiring we hike up the hill, through a backyard path, and three blocks down. A few hours after we arrived the security hub/Simli Safe located in the living room began an alert every few minutes. The host said she'd send someone, but after an hour and a half of waiting we removed the batteries (bring tools in future). Ugh! Now for the positive; good supply of towels and kitchenware, back patio was nice, and the hot tub was clean. The host sounded nice, but we didn't actually see her. We won't be staying here again.
