Ocean Beach in the flight path of the San Diego airport. Planes can begin taking off at 6:30 am and the last departures typically occur around 11:30 pm. There is a curfew in place that prohibits departures between 11:30 pm and 6:30 am.

We loved our stay in OB. My favorite part of the cottage was the enclosed patio with a gate going to the walkway. So easy to pull the wagon into. Everything we needed and more was provided. Thank you!

The home is beautiful and decorated well. The location was wonderful and it was fun to walk to the beach, shopping and dining. Great hippy vibe.
Now why not a 5 star? Be warned about the owner. My phone was dead and I left it inside to charge while we went out not realizing the text i sent my husband with codes to reenter didn't go through. We were locked out with no way of getting ahold of the owner. We worked with yahoo to get my email to his phone. We also tried reach the owner through vrbo by going to one of her listings and messaging her we were locked out and asking her to call us on his phone since she lived local. Yahoo helped us get the email and once inside I called the owner apologized and took full responsibility for locking us out. She said, "I've wasted the last 45 minutes of my life I can't get back, " "This isn't a hotel, and I am not your concierge." She explained that by contacting her on vrbo, we had taken her listing off, interfering with booking. I again apologized and let her know we would cancel the request immediately. She stated twice "don't make me call you back and tell you to cancel the listing". I am a therapist specializing in anger. I had no problems deesculating the behavior but other folks could have easily become rattled and scared of this extremely unhealthy response to a very small issue. We took full responsibility for locking ourselves out, BUT she works in hospitality, and it doesn't seem to be an area that works with her personality
