About this house rental
Comfortable, basic three bedroom bach, rustic in places. There is a track from the bach which leads to a beautiful, secluded bay and it is only a five-minute walk to Tokerau Beach and Parakerake Beach. It is also only a 5 km drive to stunning Matai Bay. This area boasts some of the best fishing in NZ, beaches, swimming, snorkeling and kayaking.
Please note that this is a traditional kiwi bach whereby tenants are required to take their own linen etc and leave the house clean and tidy.

Travelled 2hrs. Family of 5 spent a beautiful day at Ngati Kahu Fun Day at Matai Bay. Knew we were going to be tired so booked this home. It has everything you need. Access was easy, thank you for the flowers. Kids enjoyed their stay and had a great sleep. We would love to stay again the the future. Only suggestion: chuck a bucket on chimney so the birds don't fly down.

The walk down the track was great, lead to a beautiful private beach. House was as expected just a basic old school batch. Some where to rest your head after your days at the beach. The location is great & quite private, with a hige back lawn! Great big deck to relax on after a day of swimming.

Meagre facilities and poorly maintained, particularly inside, with electrical and plumbing needing attention. Some power points, light fixtures and toilet cistern top of the list.
The location has lots to offer with a reasonable walk to a lovely small beach. Also with Tokerau beach a short drive away and some supply options just down the road.
