This is a very nice place in a suburb about 20 minutes outside of the old town of Salzburg. The host is responsive and check in and check out we’re easy. Highly recommended!

Beautiful apartment, seems brand new. Very spacious.
Not having a washing machine was a bit of a shock because we needed to wash clothes on arrival (and surely facilities like this are why people choose to stay in apartments instead of hotels), but Peter lives downstairs and he let us use his personal washing machine for a quick wash, which was very nice of him.
We have a 4 year old and a 1 year old and the apartment was perfect for them. It had a high chair for the baby and even had a small range of toys. We brought our own travel cot for the baby. There are stairs to enter the apartment but these can be shut off by a door so the children can't get to them.
The apartment is in Koppl, which we didn't realise is such a beautiful area. Only 15 minutes' drive from central Salzburg (a very scenic drive too) but it feels like you're in a countryside village. Children were sledging down a local hill in the snow, paragliders were flying around the striking mountain above and all around more mountains could be seen in the distance. The village seems like much of it is new, like a newly developed suburb but in a rural village However, each home is individually designed in Alpine Austrian style, it's really pretty. Large individual homes, some of them with horses in the backyards, lots of space, and only 15 minutes from the centre of town.
The other villages in the surrounding area are also interesting and scenic. We didn't realise but this area is in itself a destination for both summer and winter sports, because it is elevated and close to many mountain ranges.
Google maps took us along a strange route on the first attempt to arrive at the property (down a track that narrowed and steepened until it was basically a mountain bike track) but that was Google's fault, not the apartment owner's. Koppl is easily served by major roads and highways, it's easy to get to, just check which route Google is sending you on (we drove to and from the house many more times after this and it was completely fine every other time).
Overall brilliant. If we were coming back to Salzburg I would definitely stay here again.
