Property could be cleaner. Couldn’t fault the bathrooms but bedrooms were all dusty

location is perfect, size of the house if great, we were a 19 and it was bang on.
only comment really is the wildly amazing shower downstairs, for love nor money could we turn down the temperature of the water, so if you like washing off your top layer of skin your good! haha
also couldnt get the karaoke to work.

It’s a beautiful house and it’s furnished really nicely. It’s also right in the heart of Brighton, so very easy to get around on foot.
There was no communication in the run up to the stay, which was hugely stressful. The mobile number that Booking.com had for the property was for someone who no longer worked there!
On arrival the house was freezing! We had to ask the caretaker to call in and it turned out the heating wasn’t working on one floor - unfortunately the one with all the beds!! That floor remained icy throughout.
The tv was tiny for such a large lounge and there was a games console but no games (we later found out there were a couple of shoot em up games in a random drawer in the kitchen - not ideal for a party of 5 female teens)!
The location - whilst very convenient - made it very noisy - there is a karaoke bar nearby!
When I raised most of these issues with the caretaker it was agreed that I would receive a partial refund. Days came and went and still no money back, so I had to get Booking.com involved. Finally received payment.
All in all, a disappointing experience and not one I would recommend or choose to revisit.
