POGGIO ALLA CAVALLA farmhouse with swimming pool in the heart of Tuscany.
The MASTER HOUSE is located in the Farmhouse "Poggio alla Cavalla" located in Lamporecchio (Pistoia) in the heart of Tuscany, near Florence, between Montecatini Terme and Vinci, the birthplace of Leonardo.
The MASTER HOUSE is surrounded by a garden, where the swimming pool is located, with a large panoramic terrace and private parking.
THE MASTER HOUSE is on the ground floor, independent entrance, (2 bedrooms with double bed + single bed and sofa bed for 2) is equipped with: air conditioning, TV, Free-Wifi Internet, dishwasher, washing machine and an equipped area outside with barbecue.
The interior is composed:
A large fitted kitchen, gas cooker, sink, electric oven and microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, kitchen cupboards, 12 p. cooking utensils
Living room with 2-seater sofa bed, TV and TV cabinet and with laptop worktop.
Two bedrooms with double bed + single bed or baby bed, one of which has a terrace overlooking the pool
The bathroom has a box/shower, sink, toilet, bidet, hairdryer.
The house is equipped with clothes horse, iron and ironing board.
The farmhouse offers guests a washing machine and laundry.
The Master House has a shared garden and also a private outdoor area equipped with a gazebo, table, chairs and barbecue for outdoor lunches and dinners.
At guests' disposal also a personal parking space in the private square of the farmhouse.
THE SWIMMING POOL only for guests of the lodgings (12x6 m - open from 28.04 to 06.10) with its panoramic TERRACE which extends around the pool, is equipped with a shower and deck chairs, sunbeds, umbrellas and tables.
Shops - Within a radius of 3 km there are supermarkets and shops, a bank, a post office, a pharmacy, a doctor, bars, pizzerias, restaurants and so on. etc.

Given the privileged geographical position of the cottage, it is possible to undertake day trips to visit the tourist, cultural and art centers of Tuscany: Florence, Pistoia, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, S. Gimignano, Volterra, Arezzo, Cortona and the sandy beach of Versilia

MASTER HOUSE -
Its cost is for 5 people, a supplement of € 10.00 per day for each additional person.
Final cleaning: €90.00 (mandatory)
Air conditioning (€ 10.00 per day if used).
Heating (€8.00 per day if used).
Pets: €10 per day (admitted on request)
Baby bed: € 20.00 (only if requested)
Tourist tax: €1 per person per night is payable on arrival.

We arrived late at night which our host kindly allowed for, but his English wasn’t good so it was hard for him to explain why the room we had booked and paid for wasn’t available and we were in a much smaller apartment which was not especially comfortable for the length of the stay with questionable weather..

We had a really lovely stay at the Farmhouse, it was clean, well equipped and the pool area is excellent. It’s remote but we liked that as it was peaceful and relaxing.
Massimo is generally around to answer any queries or help with any problems and when we checked in he gave us a lot of info about the local area which was super helpful.
The location is great for visiting Florence, Pisa, Siena and other historic cities - all around an hour/hour and a half away. The small town of Lamporecchio is lovely, great little Pizzeria and Gelateria if you want to dine out locally.
Overall would recommend.

Massimo was a great host. He gave us a lot of great information regarding points of interest and locale restaurants. His map also included supermarkets. The accommodation were clean and well appointed. He also gave us a bottle of wine from his vineyard which was wonderful. Grazie Massimo!
