This is a fantastic opportunity to experience a summer holiday in one of the loveliest villages in Tuscany. Villa Corrado is set just above the medieval walled village of Castiglione.
With breathtaking views of the ancient castle and rolling countryside, this villa is perfect for families or groups of up to 9 guests seeking comfort, tranquility, and accessibility.
Villa Corrado has been uniquely designed by a wheelchair user to ensure ease and comfort for all. From the ground-floor accessible bedroom and bathroom to the lift connecting the internal garage to the upper levels, this property is truly rare in Italy. Additional accessibility aids, can be hired on request.

First Floor
Living and Dining:
-A spacious lounge with a 10-seat dining table, an open wood fire, and French doors opening onto a large balcony with stunning views.
Kitchen:
-Fully equipped with a coffee maker, microwave, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and more, with direct access to the balcony.
Bedrooms:
-1 master bedroom with French doors to a private balcony overlooking the pool and countryside.
-1 double bedroom.
-1 single bedroom with direct access to the pool and solarium.
Bathrooms:
-1 wheelchair-accessible bathroom with grab rails, a shower, and a bidet-integrated toilet.
-1 bathroom with a shower, bidet, and jacuzzi bath.

-12x5 meters with a pool hoist, perfect for all guests.
-Garden and Solarium:
Spacious lawn and patio with a barbecue, ideal for dining al fresco.

Easily explore Castiglione di Garfagnana, only a 1-minute drive (or a short walk) from the villa, the village offers:
3 restaurants, a pizzeria, and 2 cafes (one of which doubles as a well-stocked shop, perfect for people-watching in the village center).
Shops selling local produce and fresh fruit and vegetables.
A nearby river, great for swimming.
Access via a short, steep road (approx. 30m).
The village is lively throughout the summer with many local food festivals. There is a market every Saturday morning.
The surrounding scenery is among the best in the area, with panoramic views of the Apuan mountains.
The large market town of Castelnuovo is only 10 minutes drive away, here you will find many shops, restaurants, bar/cafes and the nearest train station that links with Lucca (50 minutes). The nearest supermarkets are in Pieve Fosciana which is 3km from Castiglione. Other nearby places of interest are San Pelegrino, Corfino, Silico, Barga, the fortress at Verucole and Piazza al Sercchio.
The area is known for its spectacular walking routes. There are many different options of outdoor activities in the area. There is a lovely waterfall nearby where it is possible to swim.
Nearest Beach: 1 hour 15 minutes away.
Nearest Ski Resort: 1.5 hours drive.
Pisa aiport: 1.5 hours drive.

The house was well equipped in the kitchen. The only think that we disliked us a family, is no clothes dryer.
