Absolutely fantastic...could have stayed on and on! This was our third stay as a family at this superb house and we will be back again for sure. The house has plenty of space - more than enough for four adults and we wished that we had invited some friends too! As usual, Maria Cristina and Luca were the most wonderful and considerate hosts with excellent communication and, as expected, a the property was beautifully presented. We came back again without hesitation as this house is perfect for us: a high-quality self catering break in a secluded location that is not too far from local attractions, historic cities/towns, good for a bit of walking and running (I wish I'd brought a road and mountain bike too...) and with local restaurants if the mood took us. Fantastic all round and we are all recharged and raring to go. To be honest, we could have stayed and stayed in this traditional, homely, peaceful and very well equipped house.I'm so glad we chose to come back again - it was the right decision (I think we knew that anyway!). A huge thank you to Maria Cristina and Luca for another fantastic break at your super house. We will see you again soon.

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this beautiful holiday home. The location is stunning, offering peace and tranquility that allowed us to fully relax and unwind. The house itself is creatively and tastefully decorated, which made us feel right at home. Everything was perfectly clean and all the amenities we needed were readily available. Thank you for providing such a lovely space—we truly enjoyed our stay!

I stayed at Il Platano in September 2014 with a friend. The house is very prettily furnished, well equipped, and spotlessly clean. It was an absolute pleasure to spend a week there, and I wouldnt hesitate to return. The garden and views are wonderful, and for the first time ever I would have been quite happy to spend my holiday relaxing by the pool each day taking in the beautiful scenery. I normally want to explore as much of an area as possible but this place just makes you want to slow down and enjoy what you have right there on your doorstep. I have visited this part of Italy before and there are plenty of places nearby that are well worth dragging yourself away from the house for, but its a difficult choice when where you are staying is so relaxing and enjoyable. Fresh flowers in the bedrooms on our arrival and gorgeous toiletries left out for us to use were very welcome extras. The hosts were very kind and helpful despite us arriving much later than planned due to delays at the airport. Thankyou Maria Cristina and Luca for a wonderful stay.
